KUALA LUMPUR

KUALA LUMPUR is the capital city of Malaysia.
Established in 1857, at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak Rivers, Kuala Lumpur (KL) is one of Asia's most dynamic cities.

Its impressive skyline includes the Petronas Twin Towers, (The Petronas Twin Towers were the tallest buildings in the world until Taipei 101 was completed in 2004), the old Moorish styled railway station and numerous mosques, temples and churches.

  • NATIONAL MUSEUM-Built in 1963, the museum showcases for main galleries with highlights, such as traditional musical instruments, ceramics from the Ming Dynasty, vintage cars and steam locomotive.


  • PETRONAS TOWERS, KLCC- 88 storeys twin tower, another icon of Malaysia ! Admission to sky bridge is free ! But only a limited amount.

 


  • NATIONAL MOSQUE- is a unique star-shaped dome representing 13 states in Malaysia and the four pillars of Islam. Mosque is situated the KL Lake Gardens. Please follow strictly the rules before visiting the mosque, appropriate wearing are required.

 

  • SRI MAHA MARIAMMAN TEMPLE, Jalan Tun H.S. Lee -one of the oldest temple in the country, this Hindu temple about 22m high.


  • CHINA TOWN- also called Petaling Street, can find various of shops, restaurants and hawker stalls


  • KUALA LUMPUR CRAFT COMPLEX, Jalan Conlay - artist's colony housing handicraft shops, craft museum.

  • ISLAMIC ARTS MUSEUM

  • DATARAN MERDEKA (MERDEKA SQUARE)-On 31 August 1957, the Union Jack was lowered here to mark Malaysia's independence from colonial rule.
